THE GREAT

The Academy Polo Sweater in Hot Red League Stripe

$275.00

$220.00

Inspired by vintage rugby jerseys from the early 1900s, The Academy Polo Sweater reimagines a timeless athletic staple through a softer, more lived-in lens. Knit from a lightweight cotton yarn that captures the structure and character of the treasured originals we’ve collected over the years, it feels both substantial and effortless.

Thoughtful heritage details—including a contrast collar, classic button placket, and bold collegiate stripes—nod to its sporting roots, while the oversized, boxy silhouette, dropped shoulders, and relaxed sleeves create an easy, borrowed-from-the-boys feel. Designed to look as though it has been discovered, loved, and worn for generations, it’s the kind of piece that only gets better with time.
